More about Rena Song Fest
During Rena Song Fest, both established and pop-up studios will be available. All studios are centrally located in Rena, just a short walk apart. The train station, accommodation options, food court, grocery stores, and the Åmot Cultural Centre are all within the same convenient distance.
We are now accepting applications, and we will notify you as soon as we have reviewed yours.
Those selected to participate in 2026 after the application process will be offered various accommodation options. The chosen accommodation determines the participant's pass cost, including lodging, meals, and camp participation.
Rena Song Fest is organised by the Norwegian music companies The Woods, daWorks Music Publishing, Byrå Music, and Song Farm, in close collaboration with Åmot Municipality. These companies are among Norway's most experienced organisers of songwriter camps and have extensive experience with the Eurovision Song Contest. They are responsible for annual Out of the Woods and MGP camps at Rena, Song Farm in Sweden, and Bad Manors in England.
Rena is well-known as a music destination, thanks to the Bachelor's program in Music Business and Production at the Univerity of Inland Norway, and the songwriting and production environment surrounding The Woods studio complex. Rena is just a few hours' drive north of Oslo and has easy access by car, train, bus, or Oslo Gardermoen Airport (with a train station at the airport).
